What is National Socialism?
The Socialism of the Right
If the average person even violates his postwar programming to stop for a second and ponder this question, the only answer that floods into his mind is the “socialism” of Marxist economics.
Now, we know nothing could be further from the truth, and we may be successful in explaining that the socialism of the Right, National Socialism, has nothing to do with economics but more with an individual’s relationship to the Nation: his duties and obligations, as well as expectations. But, this might not succeed in breaching the brain/propaganda barrier of Hollywood and holocaust fantasy. Perhaps this analogy will.
National Socialism is a worldview and system of government grounded in Natural Law: the reality of nature as we find it, including human nature. It does not pretend to some fantastical future utopia, like every other worldview - but simply seeks to organize humans as efficiently as possible, accepting their natural and immutable tendencies as we find them to be in nature. To that end, the traditional family unit IS National Socialist government in action. National Socialist government is, in simplest terms, merely an extension of the natural family unit governance structure outward to encompass the clan, tribe, and nation. How is the traditional family unit a National Socialist government? First, there is a bond of blood. Admittance to the family is the most restrictive blood law there is. To be a member, you must descend from the father and the mother. No others may be members of the family. So it is with the Nation. To be a member of the nation, you must be united by a common bond of blood. Foreign and alien peoples and cultures cannot become members of the nation, no more so than the neighbor kid down the street could suddenly become a blood relative. Our households are crazy enough as they are. Now imagine the chaos of a household open to anyone with no common bonds or culture – this is the chaos of the world we live in today, where peace, harmony, and tranquility are not to be found. The family is headed by the father who is the leader (in German, Führer). He is the head of the hierarchy and government of the traditional family, and so too is the Leader of a National Socialist Nation. Mother is the father’s helpmate, his executive officer, tasked with carrying out his will for the benefit and good of all family members. So too with the nation are the agencies of government and society at large tasked with carrying out the Leader’s will for the benefit of all citizens. Finally, we have the various children and household members of all ages and personalities, who are free to pursue their own lives and interests, provided they do not cause harm to or denigrate their common family. Of course, the children have duties and obligations to the family, just as the mother and father do, and the family has duties and obligations to them. So too with the Nation: Citizens enjoy the freedom to live their lives and pursue their interests, provided they do no collective harm to the nation, but accept that they have duties and obligations to the society they are part of and must fulfill them. The NS government, just like the family, accepts that it has duties and obligations to its individual members: primarily their protection and the promotion of their collective welfare. In this way, all members of the family work individually but in harmony to the benefit of all other members, and the family itself protects and promotes its individual members. Everyone chips in and does their part for the family. The traditional family unit is National Socialism in action. We believe that a system of government not founded in idealistic ideas of utopia, but founded upon the natural and most basic order of human organization: the family - is the most stable and productive means to collectively secure peace, prosperity, and tranquility for ourselves and our progeny.
